    That’s one of the problems with this, yes. Another problem is that law enforcement are not good guys.

    You need a phone number to sign up… and you can’t even hide it from anyone you talk to… – also signal

    I’m sure the encryption and stuff is great… but there’s more to privacy and security than not seeing what is inside the messages.
