The thing is, sites do not have to be that way, as they are mostly independent from each other.
In society we have so much lecacy with no ability to change. But websites can be done without making them overcomplicated and working only on two most popular web engines.
Every website that breaks after you delete/disable one HTML tag or CSS declaraction is a badly designed document.
