It’s how I retain that resting heart rate of 112. I don’t even have to go to the gym anymore; I’m getting my cardio in just sitting here.

SYAC: In the article, Altman doesn’t explain anything regarding what led to the board doing what they did, and asserts that he will wait for the new board to conduct an investigation.
If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, you can toss your vault into iCloud Drive. If you’re technically proficient (and brave) you can write a cron to sync into whichever service you want via a local machine.
In addition to iCloud, I have a one-way sync (rsync) which functions as a poor man’s backup to get all my files into Dropbox; lots of stern warnings from Obsidian not to use Dropbox.
May I offer that it really depends on your note-taking style? I’ve been using it since July having come from linear note-taking on Cornell NTS. It’s way faster and much more interlocked once you get past the slight learning curve.
They just let anyone on the internet nowadays. It’s GIF, not GIF. Get it right.
The salient argument was that the source location from the animal is not the wing (it’s the tender) and it already does not contain a bone, he continues: “we don’t ask for boneless tacos, or boneless cars.”
The blurb here makes me think the main article is an “advertorial”.
I prompted ChatGPT to write and adjust a linear Python script for a repetitive task I needed to automate. It took 30 minutes versus the 6-12 hours I would have consumed if I had coded it myself.
It’s a huge force multiplier when used properly.
Reddit quietly changed the /r/redditrequest process a while ago. It used to be if you had no activity on your account for a year, then they would consider handing it over. In this case, if the admins don’t take it outright, then any user can make an /r/redditrequest for the sub. Admins will send a modmail to the sub, but not a message to your account. If you don’t reply within seven days they will hand over your account and you’ll only find out if you have your email set to send notifications when you get the “you’ve been removed as moderator”. I lost modship of a sub I had setup years ago because I didn’t receive any other notification.
Close, XKCD:456.
Have you at least tried to install Gentoo? Everyone has to think they can, and fail, at least once in their lives.
Big Toothpaste gonna fight this. Tooth and nail.
That’s how they started out. In 2007 I had the seven-at-a-time package because my wife and I would watch a movie a night. Shipping took 3-4 days, so by the time I got to number 7, I’d have only had it for 3 or four days before it went straight back into the mailbox.
It was a different time. As fast as things were starting to go, in retrospect it was all still pretty slow.
We’re Disruptors.
I have run my own PiHole previously. Then I wanted Ad blocking on my phone, so I also setup OpenVPN that ran alongside my PiHole so I could get ad blocking anywhere. I travel often, and then we moved, so I never got it set up again, at the same time I discovered AdGuard could be configured on both home networks for network-level blocking, but they also have device profiles for iOS.
I haven’t had to fuss with PiHole now in years.
If you are happy to do the administration of a PiHole, and the scope it provides, it’s good. I didn’t want to have to fuss with it anymore.
AdGuard! They even have installable profiles for Apple devices, so I get ad blocking even on mobile!
mb, DDNS. nvm
I didn’t get to :( It wouldn’t load.
I really have no choice. I’m primarily a mobile user via 3rd party app because their native app sucks in so many different ways. In fact, I replied to this very thread from my phone.
When the API gets cut off, I get cut off because I don’t—nor won’t—live in front of my computer.
Remember when the petroleum industry sold us disposable plastic bags as a way to “save the trees”?
