Dang I wish I knew that at the time. I had to run it many times before I was satisfied that my history was properly edited before deleting everything
I can’t speak to the article that you’ve posted several times due to the paywall, but I can speak to the language and the antagonistic attitude they actually used during the entire debacle. Placing explicit blame on third party apps like Apollo, Sync, Boost, etc.- that was the argument used. It doesn’t matter what the real reason was. They were publicly placing blame on small fish instead of the AI monster that was stealing all of their content and bandwidth
IIRC that was not the case. They very publicly blamed 3rd party apps, which was both disingenuous and not transparent.
I went to their about page and realized I was in over my head.
db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com is one cool dude. Their fingerprints are all over Lemmy in an obviously much needed manner. I’m glad I joined their instance.
Yep my buddy at VMware was waiting to get laid off all year. Finally happened two weeks ago
I don’t think that necessarily puts you in Mystery Box territory. JJ would just change it to fit whatever he wants to say at the moment. Think of it more as a currently-unknown variable that will logically reveal itself to you as you continue building the setting outside.
“We just don’t know about what happened in Ohio, but it had to be cordoned off.”
PS You should check out East of West by Image Comics.
My niece had this same issue a few years ago but with Photoshop. It absolutely ruined her. Changed schools multiple times (public and private) but social media exists so all the kids knew. She ended up getting homeschooled for the last 5 years of school as well as a fuckload of therapy. She came out the other side okay but she has massive trust issues and anxiety
I still Google reddit threads for stuff I know will exist there already. DIY, software, niche things. It can’t be helped because it’s easily accessible. While I appreciate Lemmy very much, the historical repository that is reddit still trumps many other places. For now.
I don’t visit for any other reason.
Me for the pixel 8 pro. I’d rather the regular pixel 8 but if I’m going to keep this thing for 7 years (which I will; typing from a pixel 2) then I want it to be as feature rich as possible. Not looking forward to how big it’s going to be when it finally gets delivered
He looks like the mangled villain in Red Dragon. You know, the guy Hannibal the Cannibal fucked up with a piece of glass?
You’re in the wrong community. Boost is not open source. Fwiw I also like Boost.
Just downloaded it yesterday. Is there some way to get it to cast to other devices (eg Alexa, Nest, TV, etc)?
I don’t know if you’ve read The Three Body Problem but that’s the image in mine
I had a sweet Brother for ten years at home. It was huge but reliable in every way that I needed. Finally shit the bed and my wife’s work got her a Canon and it is just garbage.
Hard drives in a pinch for work. Other than that I only go to buy TVs, which I haven’t done in 6 years
As long as they speak the language I don’t foresee a los on productivity
Wow I was on there longer than you and I don’t think I broke 10k haha
Is Sharon Apple somehow involved? Can we get a list of virtual idols with suspicious behavior?
