The best argument I’ve hard in favor of dealers is that they introduce competition in sales of a single brand of vehicle. Instead of Ford having a monopoly on Ford vehicles and selling for MSRP only, you can shop around Ford dealerships that all sell the same product but have to compete with eachother on price or whatever.
That system starts to break down when, like in recent years, dealerships collectively decide to stop selling vehicles for MSRP or below and all tack on thousands of bullshit dealership markup fees. Also dealerships are exclusively run by scum of the Earth which massively taints the entire car shopping experience.
If you’re a mod on any sub you can still see nsfw content on any other sub?
Me thinks you right. Hope stay good!
Thank you! My favorite RSS app got suddenly over run by ads a few years ago. I’ve been lacking a replacement ever since. Feeder is exactly what I needed!
One person on your instance needs to join for the community to appear. That is the major benefit of joining a large instance, you don’t need to search other instances or use 3rd party tools to find new communities.
A simple captcha for community creation would prevent this

My disappointment is immeasurable and my site is ruined.
The instance owner/admins are in charge of that. They’re kind of equivalent to the Reddit admins, except if you don’t like the instance admins you can go to a different Lemmy instance but you can’t move to a new Reddit instance. Also, community names are unique to each instance, so !support@lemmy.world and !support@lemm.ee share the same name but are two separate communities in two separate instances.
@ruud@lemmy.world I’m sure you’re tremendously busy already, just want to make sure you’re aware of this.
You can even mix and match! C:\tmp/file.txt
is valid. Very helpful for cross-os compatibility.
Hades is sooooo good!
