On mobile I can avoid ads by using a VPN to my home network which then has pihole. Usually I just don’t watch any videos on mobile

I don’t have premium, and I don’t see any ads either
I expect Russians to cry foul over this but early on Russia was using thermobaric weapons on civilian targets and they said nothing, so we know they’re just hypocrits and monsters.
Fuck yea lets go, then the petty people involved in discussions can see I’m not even bothering to down vote their idiocy.
My TV doesn’t get connected to the internet.
If I connect it then eventually it will update to a version of the OS that is slow, buggy and all the apps will be out of support regardless.
If I airgap the TV and use a computer it is good until too many pixels burn out or someone yeets something into it.
I haven’t found any alternatives but I also haven’t been looking…
They don’t need to, the day the acquisition was announced my Fitbit went in the bin.
Fuck google, the greedy rent seeking parasites.
The assumption that pirates would pay rather than simply consuming other media is absurd.
These loss numbers are pulled out of thin air with no reasoning behind them.
I did pay for it but they massively increased the price while the recommendation algorithm was deliberately made worse and they wouldn’t stop pushing short format videos.
I do know that Mozilla’s Privacy Preserving Attribution is not something you should worry about
I believe Corbin is correct based on my own assessment of this feature however he isn’t providing any evidence either.
Adevrtisers arent going to give up their existing tracking methods unless the alternative is cheaper and more effective or driven by regulation.
With only 3% market share and little ability to sway regulators PPA could be the best solution in the world and still won’t see significant adoption.
So no you don’t need to be concerned about it… because it will be forgotten in a few years.
A decade of building renewables would start generating power nearly immediately and would produce more energy per dollar invested even with storage attached.
Nuclear is a dead end for fools.
Oh so the costs will drop in 10…20 years? That’s too late to help.
You are straight up refusing to acknowledge that baseload can be provided by other means and isn’t actually an issue.
Building flywheels is cheap. They last practically forever. They don’t produce toxic waste.
You are wrong. The politicians and corporate interests pushing this are wrong.
Nuclear power plants take a long time to do properly. Starting to build nuclear now would take a decade plus.
They’re also more expensive per watt of energy generated over the lifetime of the plant than renewables.
It would be cheaper and faster to build renewables, batteries, hydro electric, and other storage methods.
Nuclear is a distraction and you fell for it.
Your views are at odds with reality.
I know you won’t but you should step back and reconsider the media you consume that has lead you to these misconceptions.
Managing to have simp bait in your rage bait video must be good for getting views.
I regret to inform you that your manchild card has been revoked
The burden of proof is on the wrong party and convictions for fraudulent dmca claims are extremely rare.
You are missing the point.
Try an extension to spoof your browser agent.
I set mine to spoof Chrome and my Firefox + ublock stopped having any issues with YouTube.
Maybe they changed something, it used to work for me before I stopped watching YouTube on mobile completely
