So let’s say I bought an apartment building and now it’s worth 2+ million, what should I do to make amends for my situation?

If you want to say that about billionaires that’s one thing but by that logic wouldn’t many people with a small a business or trying to retire be considered “bad”.
Ok, I was wrong, I didn’t know about all the boats and the second company/charity.
The Forbes thing is just an educated guess though. And are you saying anyone with 2 million dollars or anyone with 2m in assets is automatically a bad person?
Why not?
You don’t even know whether Gabe is or isn’t a billionaire.
“streaming is worse than cable now”
Ironically, pirating has never been easier lol
How much and what data are you looking to keep?
And I’m using my AC, we’re both using power. How many times has the government told one of these companies to use less power because the grid can’t handle the strain their servers put on it?
And it’s not like these companies aren’t herding people toward these cloud services. A few weeks ago my Google Cloud storage was maxed out so I wanted to delete some photos/videos off their cloud while keeping them on my phone. Legit couldn’t figure out how to do that and just ended up deleting stuff permanently.
Don’t forget to set you AC to 80 because the grid can’t handle the load lol. That’s exactly why this info is important, ecological solutions are somehow always trusted on individuals when the vast majority of the issue lies with corporations.
It looks like I got my info mixed up, thank you for the correction.
Just for reference a Fiat 500 is roughly 9.75 feet long.
Yeah, but I was thinking more parents buying a console for their kids. Like oh little Jimmy can do his homework on this thing too, great I didn’t have to buy him another computer. Or imagine if Microsoft put windows on Xboxes, every office building would be full of them lol.
Forza Motorsport will do 4k60 on Series X for example. Most Racing and Sports games will do 4k60 on modern consoles since they’re easy to render.
I think the biggest thing would be getting a PC with decent specs for $500. Why would anybody buy a Dell desktop or the like ever again? Like even if you don’t game and need to do office work it’d probably be the best option.
Racing and Sports games for sure.
If you live by a Micro Center, their house brand is pretty good.
Any debloating you do will probably be reversed by updates eventually. Have you considered installing Linux on their computer as well assuming they use it for just web browsing. Maybe just get them something that runs ChromeOS even 🤷🏻
Depends on which ones you buy and when.
How much does it cost to replace an EV battery on average?
It’s very easy to look at 10+ year old batteries and extrapolate.
There aren’t a ton of 10+ year old EVs is my problem. 10 years ago EV were still a pretty niche thing. If you have that kind of info I’d love to take a look though.
That’s what we call a “loaded question”. There’s all kinds of companies.
I definitely wouldn’t call that a loaded question. How do you figure that it is?
That’s still at max, 6 years of data. Am I reading that right? But, to be fair there’s no indication of a dramatic drop off, at worst that data is incomplete.
I wouldn’t be worried about buying a brand new EVs. My problem is that I exclusively buy 3-5 year old cars because that’s the most cost effective way to buy them. So if I bought a 5 year old EV and owned it for another 5 years it’s a 10 year old EV which is the very edge of the data is be able to find. That kind of unknown is a bit unsettling along with some other personal use case issues.
Thank you for the info though.
Well that’s my point lol. Renting out apartments isn’t inherently evil, just like owning a business isn’t inherently evil. If I charge a reasonable rent, then owning 2+ million in assets doesn’t automatically make me a bad person.
