Playstation should definitely be top - right lol
Playstation should definitely be top - right lol
Wait has this been a widespread issue? I’ve only noticed this a couple weeks now, but I thought it was because the cat dropped my deck from the table 😶
What’s going on actually?
… Yeah it is 🫠🥲
In literal terms it translates to “before-the-road” (pro - drómou)
(this literal translation includes the ambiguity of before- as in ‘temporally before’, or before- as in ‘in front of’)
So any way you slice it, it’s pretty ironic.
“Prodromou” is a Greek surname, with the rough meaning “the one who walks the road before others”.
So him being “a visionary” is fun, lol
Even to the (insufficient, overblown) extent that it happens, lifting “the poor” Han Chinese out of poverty by putting other populations (Uighurs) under slave labour instead, is not the moral win you’re implying.
If an ethnic cleansing is part of the requirements, to stop committing humanitarian atrocities towards “the poor”, that’s still an atrocity.
Disclaimer, the USA, just like every authoritarian state, is also disgusting and criminal.
No, half as long
Tl;dr:
France tries to pass an extremely unpopular reform on its colonized island on the other side of the world, allowing french citizens to vote after 10 years of staying on the island, that just so happens to be the world’s 3rd largest nickel exporter.
Locals, already fucked by years of colonialism and being economically disadvantaged, protested, and in the escalating violence, were suppressed by armed police, that killed 3 young locals. One policeman dies, days later in the hospital from a wound.
France locks down the airport and port with military, applies 12 days lockdown to the already curfew’d capital, and stations another 500 police men on top of the 1800, making for almost 10% of the population now, being french police.
Tiktok is banned, because it was said to be the main way protesters organised.
Their politicians claim no colonialism is happening.
This article sensationalises the violence of the protesters, and dryily describes that of the French state.
It is also ordered such that the heavier crimes against the people of the island, are placed after: a vapid introduction that “takes no sides”, one mandatory extra click to “load the rest of the article”, and a bunch of ads.
Yeah, that’s a toxic and underestimated cultural blight.
The joke itself was good, but thanks for the psa, not enough people think about that shit as the problem that it is.
And also justified praise.
There could never be a story like Nier Automata on any medium outside of gaming, and there probably is no story like Nier Automata anywhere else in gaming right now.
Also, clicking robots is pretty fun.
??
(I’m assuming you mean “shut up about China”, tell me if I’m wrong)
Yeah, as you correctly say, it’s a global (mostly first world) phenomenon, which, in the unique (but not special) case of China, gets its unique (but not special) flavor, worth exploring.
I’m not from China, but chunks of these stories resonate with mine and my acquaintances experience, in our own country, and others are very different.
Should all that not be reported?
Already not blind for the first half of the game because there was a wild Alpharad once.
Spoilers don’t hold power over my enjoyment generally though, so gonna I’m go check it out either way
Also I crave the difficult platforming.
Ooh, I forgot Hat in Time was a thing, I guess I should play it even if a little late
It is! I loved both, you’re in for a treat!
Just bought Lil Gator Game, Just finished Lil Gator Game.
Was moved to tears multiple times.
In all seriousness, I recommend it as fuck. And it plays amazing on the deck too.
Basically all this.
It’s become my primary gaming medium, and to be honest, it earned it’s price from the amount of time I initially spent setting up shit, which was a blast. Easily 50 hours of setup and installations before I clocked 10~20 hours of gaming, and I loved every second.
Water resistant: By being negligibly more expensive to properly engineer and build
Fully Waterproof: By being a fair bit more expensive to properly engineer and build
In both cases, the cost is reasonably tiny, compared to the markup of the price on the actual cost
After a short read, the case is specifically “Steam is prohibiting developers from selling their games to other platforms, at a price lower than that of steam, and then pockets the 30% platform cost, due to effective monopoly power”.
Which, if true, is super bullshit.
