Any attempt to break this and push to a lower price just means that there is a market gap that can be filled by buying low and selling high. Im a big believer that high demand tickets should have a name on them with ID required - want to sell they go back to retailers at cost.

She also tried a points system - follow on insta, buy merch, buy CD, get points towards early access so actually fans get tickets for a lower price. She got done for favoritism.

So they tried a lottery system - you get a ticket, if your number comes up you buy at a lower price as less people can now buy. Doesn’t work because scalpers push in as well, then sell to those with a higher WTP, pocket the difference, price doesnt change and venue/her miss out.

I would follow on from you by saying removing plastic is the better of the options anyway. Good old free will means you can’t force people to choose to use less plastic and alternatives, but you can force yourself to go and do something about it - we can’t even make them use a bloody rubbish bin.
