I can tell you did not even bother to watch the video. If you had you would have seen what the philipine ship had done to that poor chinese ships anchor.

This western propoganda has got to stop. There is video footage showing the massive damage done to china that the captain yells at end in surprise about https://youtu.be/rTw5pk6dcX0
im doing 2 actually.
I don’t care about any of that shit. People will find things they want to. I just want to have places free of bullshit or really just configurable enough that I can block the bullshit
I have a dream that one day I be part of a platform where one will not be judged by the glamor of their username but by the quality of their discourse.
im complaining a bit about the switch to digital to.
same with amazon. its the latest newness. I really miss rabbit ears.
before 2010 when a suse disk was put into a laptop and installed and the network card and everything worked just fine no tweaking.
X, especially older ones, are only tech savy if they were nerds. After that technology became a more everyday thing so maybe millenial has the magic spot where it was common but not dumbed down. I dunno though.
zorin seems to be doing fine.
yeah seems like a gotcha title. we are all aware of boycots that resulted in change. Heck operation push was all about that although making a continous group watered it down I think.
how much can someone limit the instance? Like can they not allow magazine creation? It would be good for the good folks who run instances to think about scope and set limits. That does mean some large instances will be the backbone but that does not change that small instances will lighten the load and increase robustness.
Is the shutdown about cost per user? why not just limit signups in a case like that? I sorta assumed some instances were personal instances with no real signups and some where more open public. I don’t see why someone can’t run something with the intention of carrying like 10 users max or 100 or 1000 or what not.
I feel you always want to spend at least the best price per value for power supply and maybe a bit more or even the pricey high end. Overall its a cheap part and so important to quality.
this is a bit scary as the fediverse is likely a bit more difficult than facebook and such. I hate to think we are training them to well.
The feature I want is nothing built in and no internet connection but plenty of ports and wireless
I agree (about not having a death penalty but not about punishing worse than death) but for different reasons. I actually feel taking out bad influences for the world. People who left to their own devices will seek to do horrific things. I feel that makes sense. The problem for me is the state or anyone really doing it. One is it is a an irreversible act. Two it is a power/authority that is to absolute and ripe for abuse. Three it stinks of hypocrisy in the sense the state kills those who kill, would we rape those who rape? Fourth as a relatively “civilized” society the process of death penalty is more expensive than lifetime incarceration and if it was not then the process is likely not just enough.
this is my issue with people who say we are not overpopulated. For me the population of the earth should not exceed the number of people living they way they want as we do things today without using more resources than can be regenerated by the earth (for things that are renewable but maximally using renewable over limited resources)
