Good to hear they may have changed it. I probably won’t get around to a 2nd play-through assuming I manage to finish my first play-through.
I was trying to romance Lae’zel and was a bit taken aback at how blatant and easy it was. It didn’t seem particularly realistic or well done to me. We were basically just traveling companions and then a single dialogue option was enough to initiate romance. I’ve basically never talked to her before so this seemed rather sudden. Perhaps the games assumes a lot of hidden dialogue that travelers would engage in, but when the rest of the game feels realistic it seems out of place. Maybe she is just the type of person that is really open romantically, but considering others have felt the same way about many of the other characters I suspect this is not the writers intention. Then after having intimate relations it seemed to have no relevance to the story and the character didn’t even care that it happened. The intimate scenes themselves were also rather lackluster and didn’t show anything explicit. I’m not sure why the character creation had you so vividly pick what type of genitals you wanted if it was irrelevant to the intimacy scenes.
For sure. I don’t mind moderating on Lemmy because nobody is making any money here. I’m doing something because I want to. However, I’m not going to do something even if I want to if someone else is making money from my efforts and not giving my me fair share. Whatever that may be.
Probably just fools. Working for a corporation that makes money from your work without sharing any of it with them. Nobody should be moderating on Reddit without getting paid.
Moderator rewards program? How much money are they going to be paying them?
I don’t think I entirely agree with your point here and don’t fully understand what you are trying to say as it seems like you went on a bit of a tangent at the end there.
As for people not actually being stupid I tend to agree. If you could objectively test the inner working of their brain you would likely find that it is working just fine. They still have the ability to process language, spatial awareness and all that good stuff that makes a person smarter than most other creatures on Earth.
But due to some cognitive dissonance there is some tidbit of information their minds absolutely can not reconcile that leads to seemingly weird conclusions to a person that doesn’t share the fundamental understanding of that same information. All of humanity would probably run into this same problem if aliens suddenly appeared and explained the way things really are despite it being completely at odds with everything we know to be true.
Based on your user profile it looks like the community you created is actually /c/yamaha_fz09
. Another thing to note is that this would be called a community rather than an instance. The entirety of Lemmy.world or Lemmy.ee would be the instance.
I’ve noticed that I often wake up to some notifications after going to sleep at midnight local time. It’s like opening some presents every morning.
Seems like a risky move. The whole transition away from old Twitter could be over before bluesky even joins the race. It’s definitely lost my vote in favor of Mastodon. I can register for Mastodon right now.
But can you even try BlueSky? I looked at the website, but it appears to be invite only. Which is a strange choice as it seems like it will prevent it from ever succeeding.
In case of a typo it is good to be able to edit it. I’ve already done this a few times.
It’s amazing and a bit sad how Tesla convinced people that it is some kind of luxury.
I absolutely refuse to buy a car where the only thing in the dash is a single big touchscreen. This is a really cheap and lazy way to design a car. It’s not fancy or futuristic. It’s turning an engineering problem into a cheap software problem.
If electric vehicles 10 years from now don’t re-engineer buttons, dials and knobs into their cars I am just going to walk 30 miles every day.
By listening to it on an audiobook with a speaker. I don’t bring paper into the bath. 😅
Listen to and read science fiction books. Preferably in the bath tub. I don’t think there is anything more comfortable for me than that.
I clearly stated my opinion in which I don’t even feel that strongly about. It’s just some thoughts that came to mind. I’m not trying to sneakily conspire to influence things the way I want them to be. If stating how I feel is enough to accomplish this then it must be a pretty good idea.
What kind of moderation tools could help with this?
