An easy analogy for batteries nowadays is to see them as an elastic completely relaxed at 50%. At 0% or 100% the elastic would be fully stretched. You want to avoid that to maximize its life

Go for the second hand 1l pcs. They are better and cheaper (but less sexy) than the zimaboard. The ones with a i3-7100T should handle like 10 transcode, if 1080p. Chrapes I’ve seen on ebay was a prodesk 50bucks. But it’s a rare deal

Do you have a secondary monitor? How do you handle sleep? Using laptop? How do you close your lid and get everything to hibernate/sleep? Those are my biggest gripes right now
