I used to only use Sync coming from reddit. No other app was able to replace it until I started using Summit. Now Summit is pretty much all I use for Lemmy.

“Hyundai and Kia aren’t alone in this high-tech fight. The same resellers offer console-like devices that can brute force key combinations for modern Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota vehicles, among other makes not sold in the U.S.”
Didn’t even see that part in the article that’s concerning. Maybe not all manufacturers but a lot of them need to step their security up then.
Does this update cover the new issue where the keyless cars can be broken into?

I have to imagine it’s because sky was released on mobile first so the multitouch option was already there. Really cool that it works though! Maybe other mobile games that got ported would have similar functionality?
On their GitHub:
Supported cloud providers Celeste can currently connect to the following cloud providers:
Dropbox Google Drive Nextcloud Owncloud pCloud Proton Drive WebDAV
That’s pretty cool all things considered I didn’t think a 3rd party client could be made for drive
Yeah I’ve noticed ai generated garbage articles more and more recently on search. Wish that they could be filtered out and if anything Google should be incentivized to do that because if you’re training ai models on ai generation then it’s not gonna be good for the end product.
The new encryption standard apple is using for iMessage achieves forward secrecy.

“The first ratchet, called the symmetric ratchet, protects older messages in a conversation to achieve forward secrecy.”
It says suspending the VOD service not twitch as a whole which is why I was confused.
Isn’t twitch shutting down in South Korea anyways?
The biggest issue here is there’s only one thing in that list I’d consider a subscription and that’s the data connectivity. Especially in a Tesla where there’s no option to have Android auto or apple carplay then the only ways you can stream audio would be through Bluetooth so no options to change anything other than skip and replay the songs in a playlist. I don’t particularly mind there being a one time cost for most of those features even though they’re ridiculously expensive but the worst of it is on Ford, GM and Stalantis.
Those 3 manufacturers (and maybe more? I’m not sure) have subscriptions for their self driving functions which are included in the car and already paid for. These functions are processed on the car so this is nothing more than a digital lock to features that are already included in the car price.
I’ll keep using it until they no longer let me, I guess. Pretty sure OMV and TrueNAS have matured enough to fall to if unRAID decides to go full subscription, at least.
That’s fair I would’ve used it more for supporting Mozilla and because I trust them with that data.
This sucks to hear as I’ve been paying for their relay service for a while now. I’m wondering if I should work to transfer all emails over to another service…
I was also considering signing up for Mozilla monitor, but now I’m not so sure if it’s just gonna get canned soon or not.
I just recently got projectivity but didn’t need to buy it to set as default.
I believe YouTube music premium streams actually pay more than Spotify but the cross between YouTube paying way less and YouTube music paying more causes some confusion.
Would another option be like having every post have some kind of anchor of invisible text or something with “lemmy” so when I search for “best washing machine lemmy” it’ll show all posts across instances or something. Idk if that’s how SEO works entirely though.
Did these chips have a translation in hardware like Rosetta? Or emulation that’s almost just as good? Edit: Found a couple things according to Qualcomm’s charts it looks interesting https://www.anandtech.com/show/21112/qualcomm-snapdragon-x-elite-performance-preview-a-first-look-at-whats-to-come But from what was observed along with other scores it looks a lot closer https://www.androidauthority.com/snapdragon-x-elite-benchmarks-3380426/
It really kinda depends on what type of Minecraft server you’re running. I was running Plex and Minecraft on unRaid with like 16gigs of ram and an i3 8100 and it was fine until I started doing more intense moded Minecraft. The iGPU in Intel processors can handle transcoding really well so it’s a pretty good all in one solution. I imagine if you’re going to heavily modded Minecraft you could probably get away with a current gen i5 or maybe even i3 if you’re on a budget. Looks like the i3 13100 has hyper threading and my old 8100 didn’t. Not sure how big of a difference it would make.
The flavor tasted like a sprite but with a fruity aftertaste to me. Honestly didn’t know any ai involvement with the drink when I initially got it I just like trying the coke creations flavors. Starlight was still my favorite.
I wouldn’t say anything specifically better or worse compared to sync but it’s close enough, feature wise, that I found myself using it more and there’s no ads.
