I used to be a prodigy who never lost a FNM but had to sell off my collection so I could afford to eat. Shortly after they increased card power per mana by like 1.5 and introduced Planeswalker cards. This makes everything favor rapid rollout strategies and lowers statistical stability a lot! I decided the game was ruined a at that point and didn’t go back.

We aren’t fickle. We adhere very strongly to our principles but it’s easier to direct people to a name when they aren’t interested in understanding why.

Also I’m that scenario, you know Valve only gave it up for something dramatically better.
