Every time I see this opinion being shared I just imagine a tiny, angry Tim Sweeney throwing a tantrum because Valve bad. Why? Because… Because I said so, okay?!
Just a guy. Just a fella.

Interesting video. I think I’ve heard of it as an apple growing up in a Christian household.
Semi related, but I enjoy the Gnostic interpretation of the Forbidden Fruit story, in which the Serpent (aka Lucifer) tempts Eve with the fruit of knowledge to achieve Gnosis, so she may learn the true meaning of their existence (the understanding that God is not their true creator). This paints Lucifer as the hero and God, or Yaldabaoth in Gnosticism, as the villain.

I had a similar experience on my laptop. I tried Ubuntu which broke after trying to throw on Nvidia drivers (using the official docs). I tried Mint and Debian, both of which couldn’t detect my laptop’s wifi card (after hours of trying to fix - apparently a common issue but the fixes did not work for me!). I landed on Fedora, worked great. I’m now on EndeavourOS, but Fedora was the stepping stone I needed.
My desktop I built recently is Bazzite, which is Fedora based and I love it.
What are some alternatives? I’ve heard Tidal is one of the better ones. I’m not necessarily opposed to piracy/ripping my CD collection + self-hosted streaming, but if I can pay someone else for the convenience I’d rather do that.
Do any services have a comparable family plan too?
Got any tips or tidbits for Nobara? I’m heavily considering installing it onto my new PC when I build it in a week. I’m a noob at Linux but it seemed perfect for everything I’m looking to do on my PC.
The Mastodon instance I’m on (wetdry.world) has HUNDREDS of users. Don’t use an instance like mastodon.social and you’ll have a better time.
“Did not know” is correct. “Knew” generally comes after a pronoun "I knew, he knew, they knew. " Know, however, is also fine after pronouns.
I’m sure there’s a properly defined rule in English for it, but I definitely don’t know it.
I just got a deck last week and I’m loving it so far. Been playing Castle Crashers again (here’s hoping the new update comes out soon!) as well as Baldur’s Gate 3 with my wife, which runs incredibly well surprisingly.
