Cheapest OLED steam deck is $549.00 (USD) while the most expensive is $649.00 (USD).
So really either way not only all those positives, but it’s also at least $50 cheaper (which you can use to buy several games on Steam…)
Also terrible for the environment
Very nice - glad to not need the beta since it messed with some Steam Deck stuff like Gungeon video settings and the default dock volume…
Not since Android 9. Hopefully your phone is newer than 2018.
Not exactly sure when it was added, but newer versions also give you a notification/alert when your microphone and camera are in use.
Not sure about iOS, but on Android you’re not able to just give free access any more - it’s either no access or “only while in use”
Probably to raise awareness of the close dups feature? That was added in 127
This.
If they were listening, that means they’d have to transmit that voice data, then they’d have to use models to understand that data, then do all that shit - I think there would be a ton of evidence of that (at the very least, someone would have done some verified packet sniffing).
There’s a lot easier ways to get the same job done, and there’s solutions to it
“Lionsgate is immediately recalling our trailer for ‘Megalopolis,’” the company said Wednesday. “We offer our sincere apologies to the critics involved and to Francis Ford Coppola and American Zoetrope for this inexcusable error in our vetting process. We screwed up. We are sorry.”
Certainly an interesting light into how trailers are made - entirely separate “film” almost.
Love that they’re making this change after CrowdStrike
Why would anyone potentially think about using X Twitter for advertising when they might sue you when you decide to cut back?
That check is going to run out sooner, rather than later
Would it… though?
As noted in other comments, that certainly happens now even with paper tags - but it makes that wheel just a bit more greased…
It’s understandable given the effort required to update tags manually, but it would be nice to see price guarantees from stores (“price stable for 24 hours!”).
It’s not just Walmart - the entire grocery sector is doing it. The potential for abuse is certainly not low.
The new labels allow employees to change prices as often as every ten seconds. - NPR
Ah see I was grandfathered in as a lifetime member from before it was purchased by NPR and then sold off…
At some point I’ll probably switch to something like AntennaPod, but it’s just such a great UX.
KDE Kasts has windows builds
Though I only ever use PocketCasts in my phone
He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and trial by jury “on all issues so triable.”
That… seems insanely low. It’s likely not even a year’s salary.
Why $100?
It works with any USB-C hub - I spent $15 on a hub and $5 on an HDMI cable.
