Beautiful build! I heard people talking about gaming on linux but actually seeing you talking about running triple A games that weren’t made with linux in mind made me get filled with joy, I can’t wait to play Stray.

Needing to feel superior is meaningless. Feeling just in your distro decisions is something you can only give to yourself when you are honest. If I need to shame your decisions based on your needs, I know I am doing something wrong and I need to distro hop. I should feel self sufficient in my choices, and so should you. I encourage your distro usage and hope you master it enough to suit your needs.

Honestly I’m just guessing, I have no idea what in the fresh hell they are trying to do. Best case scenario, it becomes a cash grab insta copy. Worst case scenario, the users migrate to other platforms. Rage for them is still engagement, and they probs cross their fingers thinking it will all blow over.

I mean they gotta show face for the investors for being “open” and “friendly” to the community.

The same mfs who blame mods for spez’s decisions will be the one who blame them for that platform’s lack of content that they want to consume. Or “moderating too hard and I can’t get more content”. Once again, I’m glad we’re all here and not there anymore.

People get used to things they understand so they don’t want to learn. Frustration builds as you get older, so I am glad I started a long time ago, and I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to learn constantly and are patient. I learn(ed) from trial and error, I like poking the bear and being able to see what works/doesn’t and why. The responses I got regarding lack of linux usage is that people don’t like spending time troubleshooting, or they get super jaded and just want something that works then and there, just so they don’t think too much about it. But now the irony is that windows will piss them off so much they will have no choice but to learn the distro they choose. It’s like vim, at first it seems strange, but once you learn it you will never look back. Learning is done as long as there is curiosity and need involved.
