4K 120Hz is my minimum acceptable standard these days, as I’ve stated earlier. 1080p120 minimum for handhelds.

That’s the point I’m making. They’re too cheap for proper gaming.
Edit: Or more like prices are so out of control that $700 is no longer a lot of money for a decent gaming system.
Neither of them are capable of true 4K 120Hz+ gaming, so until then I’ll stick with my PC.
Also, giving anything the initials “DP” is weird and creepy as fuck, given that “DP” was already a well-established acronym in the porn industry years before DisplayPort was even conceptualized.
What about red USB-A ports, and USB-C ports with no symbol by them at all (like on phones and desktop PCs)?
Firefox has PiP? Last time I saw that feature, it was the 90s and it was on a TV.
My reason was being that I couldn’t get HDR to work properly in KDE 6 plasma. Also 90% of the features from my graphics card that I use on a daily basis are missing in Linux.
If I didn’t have cutting-edge hardware paired with an Nvidia GPU, I would have already switched by now. I build a new PC once every decade, so I’ll check back in about 3-5 years once my hardware has aged enough that people are writing proper drivers for it that goes beyond the bare-bones featureset.
Individuals should be allowed. Corporations shouldn’t.
Don’t forget about Enhancer for YouTube, SponsorBlock, and DeArrow! They’re all a must-have for desktop YT.
Already considered all of those before buying the Z. None of them meet my horsepower requirements. And the last time I checked, they don’t make a convertible WRX and BRZ/FRS/86.
Funny you mention that; I had the opportunity to buy an ND Miata for $5K more. Went with the 350Z instead. Now your comment is making me second guess myself, even though I love how the 350 handles.
It glides through corners so damn well, I can’t possibly imagine it getting any better than this, but you “Miata is always the answer” people always come of the woodwork and make me second guess my decision. The low horsepower figures always got to me. But now I’m thinking that maybe I should have just taken the damn test drive before falling in love with the Z.
I miss the days when the radio was its own separate thing in a car. Hate the outdated UI? Just replace the radio head unit with a modern one.
Nowadays it’s a lot more difficult. There is a module called iDatalink Maestro that allows you to still maintain most factory features after replacing your head unit, but a lot of cars tend to be incompatible—especially EVs—as more and more features become integrated into the stereo. The days of modular components in cars is nearing an end.
Do you honestly believe that only 0.01% of PC users have an HDR monitor? Give me a break.
If there are software alternatives that allow me to automatically AI upscale and convert to HDR any video I play in any program, streaming or local (and it just works automatically in everything with no effort on my part), then please share download links with me. Until then I’ll stick with Nvidia GPUs.
I see, thanks for pointing out that I’m a stereotype. FML
TBF, the 350Z was the sports car to have when I was a teenager. Not my fault that I can only afford one just now in my mid-30s, haha. I blame Ronald Regan for screwing over working-class citizens. If I had the money my parents had, I’d be driving an EV by now.
(edit: and FWIW I’m in a happy relationship with an adult woman similar to my age)
Agreed, but mostly fuck modern Nissan. 90s and 2000s Nissan were cool.
I’d like to see that list, cause I’m I’m considering selling the car in a year or two. Requirements: 2 doors, convertable, 300+ BHP, manual transmission, stability control (cause I’m a bad driver lol), under $15K.
FWIW I’ve been using the lazy excuse all my life until I got the ADHD diagnosis a year ago in my 30s.
Is this the reason why SmartTubeNext keeps breaking on my TV? The updates come pretty quickly but it’s getting annoying cause my $1800 OLED has the processing power of a $50 Chinese Android phone and thus takes forever to install updates.
