Honestly .ml lives rent free in the head of so many people that I actually got a better experience by blocking every random who mentions how much they hate .ml in a conversation that has nothing to do with it.

I’ve gotten to the point that I think the US government has paid shills spamming Lemmy with those comments just to make sure socialism doesn’t get discussed at all.

Honestly I’ve started to start any political conversations with someone who’s misinformed like: “Oh you’re think they’re eating dogs? I saw that too, but it isn’t news. It’s political ads. You know? Propaganda? But they are selling you fear instead. Turns out it’s just fiction, lol. They tricked me too.”

It generally opens up a legit conversation, and the person is less defensive since it’s us talking about something else. Instead of me vs them.

Are you me? Literally the same experience. I think it’s bots programmed in a way that follows what you described.

At work? Yeah I’m gonna use AI to write that email. I didn’t think or do anything more than the minimum required before, I’m not starting now. AI just makes it so that the same garbage I would sent before, now smells nice.

If you like writing as an art. Why would you have the machine do that for you? If you like thinking, you can do the thinking and let the machine do the typing for you.

All of these are different uses.

You think your groceries doubled because of the people trying to save the planet, and not because of the greed of the millionaire who owns the store who chose to raise the prices and kill unions so they could buy a pet yatch for their mega yatch?

It is how “fast” they can transfer x amount of information. Not how fast the material being used to encode information can move through space.

And you can identify secondary accounts, or their co-shills by the use of similar language. Probably picked up from their script. Pay attention to words like “provocateur” or “reactionary”. You know, the ones no one uses in real life.

He’s revealing he’s either a sock puppet or a bot. Notice the weird disconnected and aggressive comments in a lot of these post follow the same idea. They just try to drum up conflict. Ignore them.

Edit: They deleted the comment when called out. Totally not guilty looking at all. The comment basically complained how the feminist agenda is taking over the world, written in a rather aggressive and confrontational tone. (As if trying to provoke conflict/engagement)
