Arizona, figure the context being the US would at least make that an easy search but guess not.

Then sometimes you’re like me, living in AZ, not even on a VPN, being told “You Texans should be asking for ID” and just wondering how the fuck that’s happening
If it wasn’t eligible for the FIX (this is NOT an upgrade, you are entitled to them fixing this shit if it does effect you)maybe it wasn’t the right ignition system? My 2013 Elantra needed it and it seemed to be on the older end of cars who had the vulnerability.
Okay so as someone who’s getting fed up with Windows and Microsoft as a whole, I’m interested in Linux.
I just wanna game and watch videos. Video calls n such with friends. Nothing too spectacular.
Now can someone who doesn’t work on computers for a living, or even isn’t a hobbyist programmer. Someone like me, who couldn’t write a line of code on their own, answer me how difficult would it actually be?
My biggest fear is that I’m convinced by all the tech nerds here who can of course run this no problem and don’t see why a beginner would struggle, and then my anxiety shoots through the roof while I have a breakdown because I just wanted to get home from work and relax and suddenly my PC is a paperweight.
It’s a handful of addons (open source, available to be added via files) rather than the whole browser that are now available in Russia. Seems better to cut loss there and remain available as long as a workaround exists I’d think?
increase of distraction and time wasting inefficiencies.
Yea fuck having fun
We’ve already established that Tiktok Tok is not the CCP. That’s what the whole first “gonna ban TikTok” fiasco was over. It’s why they don’t store US data in China but continue to do business in the US.
That would be a business using the 1st amendment right (which everyone gets, not just citizens) to free speech to use it’s platform to ask it’s users to do something directly beneficial to them. Nothing illegal about it unless you want to reevaluate that “TikTok is the CCP” claim again.
Lemmy really seems to generally think that TikTok isn’t massively overall popular. Lemmy would have someone thinking it’s a niche app only being used by teenagers.
First off, source? Second, the npr interview I heard mentioned specifically that China has to approve the sale because the algorithm is proprietary to a Chinese company. So anyone “buying TikTok” is buying a name and none of the actual bones of the social media platform
It’s jerkey, specifically dried meat, pretty sure they’re silica packets
I really don’t get this argument regardless of which way things “should be”.
Even and independent Activision-Blizzard under Microsoft would have overlap with HR or something. I can’t imagine leaving them “independent” wasn’t going to entail some trimming of fat.
Favorite use? Either Gortash or “giving it back” to the Zhent in Act 1 by pushing whats-her-name into the pit, followed by the flask and a torch.

I’ve been seeing this on Lemmy lately, why are people going to roman numerals? Do we hate Arabic now? It’s not saving keystrokes unless I’m crazy?
That’s cuz it’s Stellaris rules sooooo >_>
Of course the fanatic spiritualists oppose Al, it’s a blocked tech path for them.
Contraline’s method involves making a small piercing in the scrotum and using a handheld injector to push the hydrogel through a catheter that’s connected to the vas deferens. The catheter is then taken out, and the puncture heals on its own.
That sounds like a bit more than just an injection. Not quite like going in for a flu shot to the nuts
Meanwhile my dad can’t get enough of his Zflip or whatever the smaller one is. Even with the screen starting to wear in the middle, it’s lasted longer than his other phones because the folding means it doesn’t get banged around.
Same goes with mentions of physical keyboards, all I get is flashbacks of my dad angry that his sausage fingers (tilesetter) can’t hit the buttons before touchscreen keyboards with bigger buttons hit.
You don’t think about how glad you are you don’t have a jack because you’re thinking about the nicer camera or bigger battery, or both, rather than the jack. No matter which way you fall the reasoning certainly isn’t just cost cutting
The CO2 will have to be sequestered back in the ground, so a method will have to be made to liquify and pump it back in, but it’s theoretically possible.
Not theoretical, they’re doing this as proof of concept at cement plants in Norway, they’re planning on pumping it into an aquifer under the artic ocean
Best I can do is tree-fiddy
