Ren is a lyrical genius and I love his rapping style. Great post.
Just visited a moment ago to check if I received my Place awards for placing FUCK SPEZ pixels. Couldn’t access my profile page without turning off adblock. They just keep giving me more and more reasons not to return.

It’s a heat/cold powered cycle … once the temp regulates the same everywhere, there is no more cycle.
Netflix wanting to get paid for their service and content is reasonable.
Sure, it’s reasonable, and why I started subscribing in the first place. But if I pay for four screens, I expect to be able to use all of those four screens, no matter what address they are being viewed from.
Personally I agree, but we all know what someone means when they say “posting on Lemmy” etc. I simply make it a point to refer to it as “the fediverse” in my own posts. Eventually people will catch onto the right terminology, especially as more software platform options become available for the Fediverse … like Threads (though those ppl will probably always call it Threads because that will be all they know and understand of it).
Exactly. My sympathies are with those creators & moderators who have received awful comments from reddit users that are too naive and impatient to understand the protest actions.
Yeh, it’s my first time linking on here so I’m still learning how to do it. And I think it’s different too, for Lemmy, kbin, and mastodon. Often I just copy the name or link and paste it to search in kbin to find the location.
I’m also finding the links I posted above send me to 404 if I click directly, but will open correctly if I right click/open in new tab. But here are two links that might work for kbin, however I dunno if they would work for Lemmy users lol.

edit: oh, and thanks! I’ve subbed to “Nails”
This is true for me as well. I became very considered with all my posts, and scared to post a quick off-hand remark on reddit. Often I would get half-way through a comment, and just delete it because I had become paranoid about how it would be received - even the most mundane thoughts and opinions. It was just too mentally exhausting to deal with. And also, I 'd just like to say: the “fancy pants” editor is shit.
The success of reddit is balancing on whether you open up that incredibly defiant group of nail artists! 🙃
Well, I’m glad you’ve found your way here. There are a couple of groups that might be of interest to you …

Word-processing. I fancied myself a bit of a writer when I was young. First my Dad gave me an electronic typewriter and that was a game-changer for organising ideas, sentences, paragraphs … incredible, but my PC with Word, and Publisher, Wow! No more rewrites in countless exercise books, or liquid paper, or erasers. Amazing!
Epic lost their case with Apple regarding Fortnite, yet now Epic are looking to make Fortnite available on iOS in EU. But from the article it seems an alternate “app marketplace” would still need Apple approval anyway. It will be interesting to see how all this is going to work.
