I can’t help but wonder if they’ll ever fix the action menu glitch for controller users.

You piqued my interest and holy shit, Spotify money laundering is wild.
I looked up the page and it gets worse.
You will need to shop for a car inverter. Find one that is at least 1,500 watts, and it will help you power your refrigerator for up to five hours—usually without damaging your car battery. Considering how much food we keep in our refrigerators, a $200 car inverter is a bargain!
I’d imagine an increasingly hostile world economy coupled with a then-looming but now beginning climate crisis might have a huge impact there.
I think a lot of the Internet is going to end up shitted up with this kind of nonsense. While leaving Reddit certainly tackles one issue, having a way to filter out the rest of this shit would be useful.
I think the brave explorers are still here, they’re now just vastly outnumbered. The early Internet was full of those explorer types because they in particular tended to have enough interest to overcome the hurdles of getting on the Internet: namely computers being expensive and somewhat difficult to use. The early Internet was more accessible to intelligent, innovative users, and it reflected its user base. Many got online to explore and continued to explore and innovate once there.
Now millions have a user-friendly computer in their pocket, so practically anyone, even flat earthers, is capable and intelligent enough to use the Internet. Most are attracted not by exploration but by access to specific services that have been advertised to them, especially social media. The Internet continues to reflect its user base, but the user base’s composition has… changed. Let’s just call it changed.
Don’t forget well-meaning advice from someone incompetent who failed upwards but still lacks the self-awareness to see it. I’ve had a few of those.
That’s why I freeze dried mine and keep them in the glove compartment for use in the HOV lane.
Seriously? That’s ridiculous. Part of the joy of D&D is having a varied group that can solve problems in different ways. Making everything about the player character is just stupid.
It charges it so much, you’ll never need to charge it again.
I thought the US was already working on that?
A microwave oven? According to some YouTube videos, Apple had this tech in their phones years ago.
I had to verify the current situation in the United States is what you stated because it’s intuitively so wrong. I can’t believe an employer can set terms for compensation and, through no fault of the employee, legally prevent that employee from completing those terms.
Land of the free!
I only pull up Quora when I want to know the most common wrong answers to questions.
I did my part and sent them a “do this and I’ll never buy a Haier product” email. Corporations exist to maximize profits. Communities like ours just have to learn how to make it clear to them that shutting us out will hurt their profitability.
I think we should all be really proud of ourselves. We banded together and, regardless of WHY Haier is doing this, got them to open a line of communication. This is a huge win!
Hell yes! My sister-in-law has your same year but the diesel version and that thing is a champ. It’s rated at 45 mpg on the highway but she typically gets 50+, even with nearly 200k miles on it.
I had a 2004 1.8t Jetta for 12 years but I swapped it for a Prius. I love the Prius features and fuel economy but I miss how damn quick that my Jetta was, plus I loved the interior color scheme.
It’s good for me because I’m piss poor at programming. In my defense, I’m not a programmer or even programmer adjacent. I do see how it wouldn’t be useful to a pro. It also has occasionally given me garbage advice that an expert would spot right away while I had to figure out in my own that it was ‘hallucinating’ again. There’s nothing better for learning than troubleshooting, though!
Man, don’t I know it. The 2023 Prime is out with a 39-44 mile range, which would cover about half my total daily commute, plus my employer has free charging. Someday…
I’d happily trade it all for robust public transportation, though.
But they are, uncharacteristically, being nice about it.
I think it’s indicative of Disney’s character that this worries me more than anything else.
Seconded, I use a Define 7 and it’s fantastic. Best big black box I’ve ever owned.
