I’m going to say that to the absolute gross majority of people federation means absolutely nothing.
I’d go even as far as to say that the Venn diagram of what you can and cannot post between Mastodon and blue sky is almost the perfect circle
Nope. Not at all. I very much prefer BlueSky as far as Twitter replacement goes.
The funniest part is that all the AI hype is focused on all the wrong things. There are absolutely great AI tools that get very little mention.
For example, I’m visually impaired and use AI tools A fair bit to help me get around the internet and such. Especially when it comes to using AI I to generate descriptions of images.
And don’t call me Shirley
I’m actually kind of impressed that you can mine crypto still. I thought most of that went away some time ago
The weakest link is always the lowest common denominator. I’m pretty sure that the other armies around the world have their fair share of idiots too.
They’re selling well but I don’t think they’re in the tens of millions sold

Who would have thought this would be a hell of a presumption in this day and age
GN Linux distro when? 😄
Yes, AMD was replacing Ryzens that had that bug. I’m not sure if they are anymore though. But it’s 100% a confirmed thing. I have not heard anything Zen 2 and newer having this problem and have no experienced any Linux issues with my 3000, 5000 and 7000 series CPUs.
I never managed to fix this bug with my first gen Ryzens. Worth upgrading to something newer for sure.
Yeah First Gen Ryzens definitely had a Linux lock up bug. My x1700 had it all the time and could never fix it.
I think the point a lot of people are making is that because it’s a fresh install it might have been quicker and faster to just reinstall versus whatever kind of checking and troubleshooting you’d have to do with the permissions.
The most cursed treasure in all the land
This is the right answer.
What are you studying OP?
My opinion has been to install PopOS on all my laptops. It’s consistently needed the least amount of fixing to get things like fan curves, or keyboard backlights, etc working
Arch in desktop.
It’s a North American passtime since at least the Witch Burnings… 😕
Kicked the Linux Nerd hornets nest I see.
It’s great that it works for you. It doesn’t for me. Especially with some screen sharing, recording and reading/accessibility stuff…
Not sure why people even bother with that site anymore.
