I’ve noticed significant YouTube quality degradation when using Firefox, but no issues with Chrome.
Got a link for the extension by any chance?
1080p and 4k isn’t really a fair comparison for great earbuds and shit earbuds in my opinion. The comparison there is like 4k and 480p. There is a massive difference between the 2. I have had $30 earbuds that you couldn’t listen to a podcast on, and I currently have $250+ Bose earbuds that are fucking amazing for just about everything.
Unless of course you’re saying that these earbuds are in fact “1080p” quality. In which case, fair point. I have yet to see someone who’s actually used these and commented on the sound quality though. What I’ve seen from fairphone products is they are consumer friendly at the expense of quality.
It’ll largely be an echo chamber regardless of size. The fediverse tends to lean into tech, and is very left wing. If you don’t fit the bill, you are either driven off, de-federated with, or realize the content posted here isn’t what you’re looking for, and you leave.
I don’t mind the small knit community, as I agree with most stuff, but this simply isn’t a place you can host competing ideas, or at least not feasibly. This isn’t a place for open discussion. You get down voted for your opinion, even if it is a shitty one. This isn’t the fediverse I want to see. I want to see people upvoted for their opinion, and enticed to engage with whatever discourse is present, regardless of views. Downvotes should be reserved for trolls, bots, and fascists. Everyone else should be welcome.
Thanks for capitalizing that B
What an absolute cringe take. Thank you valiant knight for defending that nice lady’s hair. God speed.
Fully left Reddit. Hate that they killed Sync so bounced. Don’t miss it at all.
The flip side is Lemmy is meh. Every damn post is Linux shilling. We get it. Lemmy users like Linux. At least Sync works on this site.
Ultimately, I guess I just don’t care about either site. I just want something to mindlessly browse for a few minutes every day when I’m shitting, and Lemmy is fine.
I did. Once sync was out it was a pretty easy transition. I just wanted an app to scroll mindlessly for a couple minutes a day, and Lemmy does the job. The content stream is a lot slower, but for low usage users like myself, it’s fine.
That said, from what I’ve gleaned from other threads, it still seems like most people still use Reddit in some capacity.
Hey it’s me, your therapist. It’s for the nudes.
