But,…developers
They are the MS of the 2000’s; maybe worse
Alpha Bet
good - Fuck google.
Huffman was fucking pissed about how good Alien Blue and Apollo were. He bought and absolutely fucking ruined AB and when he couldn’t buy Apollo (he tried) he crushed it under his boot heel.
How do they explain the lag other places outside their Official App on mobile?
A decision on Apple’s request for a permanent stay on the U.S. ban during its appeal is expected in the coming days.
An Apple spokeswoman said that the blood-oxygen feature would continue to be available on the watches for now.
Still at the maybe maybe maybe stage.
Got Shwifted
Are,…we,…the baddies?
Funny that, ay?
It’s a play on the cockatrice vs basilisk theory, in context with AI
Socrates detractors be like:
So, where do we go from here?
I do not kno. Though, I for 1, support all future Cockatrice.
George Carlin is the Socrates of our time; there I said it.
First off, and mainly UX based, different feature sets. For example the way Netflix feeds new and upcoming items, notifications etc.
I do understand that AppleTV has just recently really solidified their decisions on how they want their controller/remote to work so that may be a factor in designing the software for the navigation across all legacy AppleTV devices. The control schemes on consoles and other media boxes have been a constant for years and years now.
This same issue generally happens across other media streaming services. For instance, the Disney app; even slight FFWD is abominable. It’s just pickiness, however I’ll still switch over to the Roku or a console to watch anything on Disney+.

Also, Netflix has the worst UI/UX on AppleTV boxes. The experience is vastly different and better on a Sony or Microsoft device in the Netflix software. It’s pretty odd imho.
Not orgs,…exactly.
There was a huge push by a lot of IT and tech based people to get behind and push promotion of Chrome over Firefox and IE. FF had its issues at the time and seemingly everyone trusted Google to no end (ashamedly myself included).
I’m gonna say this really started to happen ~2010 or so.
I wish I could find some of the old Reddit threads and memeing that happened surrounding it all.
Things like this were everywhere:
A Cybersecurity professional once told me that Firefox is frowned upon
This has been rampant for years now.
There was a massive movement years ago to get every user on Chrome. Even going so far as to replace all appearances of IE with Chrome, then change the Chrome desktop icon to the IE icon, then tell the users it’s a new better version of IE.
There was a massive PR campaign to wash his image. Similar to Bill Gates; a massive amount of money and influence spent washing that complete prick squeaky clean for years. Him and his cronies actively holding back the planets technology for over a decade will never be forgotten.
I’m trying to think of other examples of world figures that have had their images washed and am coming up with nothing so far.
Ha I’m glad someone picked up what I was putting down there.
I didn’t wanna have to go back and look at the video of the turds falling out of Bush’s mouth again, but I finally did:
"There’s an old saying in Tennessee—I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, ‘Fool me once,…shame on— shame on you— fool me can’t get fooled again’
