This issue with glibc should have been sorted out. But yeah, if you use arch you may have some issues from time to time cause some projects broke their ABIs sometimes, but I prefer to use the one with pacman cause I only have to update my entire system with one command, also theming is an issue with flatpak that I know there is solutions out there but AFAIK are always adhoc solutions for each app.

Also, IIRC steam folder is always in a weird place using flatpak.

With EFI you can even install windows after Linux and it will not mess with your systemctl boot. Windows will only put its bootloader in the EFI partition and systemctlboot will continue working. My girlfriend made this and I lost my jaw.

Yeah, but you can also run as a windows user and be happy. I have my moments of “from scratch” guy, but sometimes I just throw all away and reinstall (or install another) my distro when I feel the issue is too obscure and should not be occurring. A lot of ppl judge me but I’m using only Linux for the past 3 years and I’m happy as fuck with it. Not OP but the thing about locals is serious, in Brazil I know about some wind farms that had disrupted the life of locals because was made too close of their houses, and these windmills are very loud. Now ppl can’t live a decent life there and energy companies gave compensation to them.

This is so frustrating because this is a big hit to browsers like firefox because Apple has such a large userbase, but this same userbase does not give a shit, and this is because they bought an apple in the first place. Frustrating

Firefox is so bad that even my chromium start to spawn multiple threads, this is probably because firefox is installed with mozilla malwares because everyone knows that a good browser uses only one process and one thread /s.

If I can give you an advice OP, is to, everytime you got angry to someone or something, think about twice if it is really someone being evil or if it’s just a thing that happend in a world where things we don’t like happen, you will got a little less pissed and will have a little happier life.

100% this, I had to clear my firefox for a while and then I was trying to install all extensions again and could not find this bloody extension, I got literally a month to find it again and discovered that was not working cause youtube cannot stop changing it’s UI, imagine my happiness.
When you install it you never use youtube controls again, just the extension.

There is a lot of stuff but for me the main one is to control the playback speed with mouse just hovering over the extension UI and scrolling mouse. You also have a SS function on a button and multiple ways to change your player window, all of this with a simple UI below or embedded in the the video player (you always use to hover over the buttons).

There is some extensions out there that can do most of these features but I always found them too cluttered if they have an UI or too clunky if they use gestures over the player. I always do shit while scrolling my youtube pages using the Tweaks for youtube extension cause my mouse were always in the wrong place while scrolling and I slow the video instead.
