Going by core count alone is a pretty shitty metric for CPU performance. The 4 core APU in the steam deck will outperform an 8 core bulldozer cpu by any metric

I’m gonna blow your mind by telling you there are already working PS4 and Xbox One emulators, although both only support a small number of games so far
PS3 and Xbox 360 can be emulated very well by a modern PC, the majority of games work without glitches
If this gets decent standby battery life on 4g I would seriously consider it as my secondary phone
Some phones have UWB. Zero phones have Bluetooth 6.0
Or you could just get a Moto tag, which already supports Google FindMy and has centimeter accuracy thanks to UWB
Do you have o2 DSL, o2 fiber, or o2 cable/coax Internet? O2 cable does not have a public IPV4 address by default, you need to request one from customer service.
Given how ebikes are becoming more popular every year, and all manufacturers are locking them down with canbus, you’re gonna hear that phrase a lot in the future
It looks like gated communities can’t be accessed using your app. I tried opening /r/steroids and just got a blank page
Were not going back!
There are still some niche subreddits I can’t live without, that either don’t exist on Lemmy or are so small here they might as well not exist
No, it wouldn’t. The same thing happened when 3G was shut off here and there was no recourse for consumers.
It’s just an android device, someone will make a bootloader unlock and custom rom for it if it comes to that
Bro is a gender neutral slang
Providing Disney with an internally hostable version of Slack doesn’t require giving them the code. They can just ship them compiled binaries
My guess is they just want a high value backlink for their SEO performance 😉
That gave way to Plex, which is a webapp to host your local media, which has grown very large and is out of favor. Jellyfin and others have taken up the mantel.
I think you overestimate the prevalence of Jellyfin. Plex is still more widely used, for good reason
Which is a problem, because Chromium is becoming a monopoly too. Safari and Firefox have a small marketshare and Google is abusing their power
To be fair, it’s the fourth power of the axle weight, not vehicle weight. So it’s not as extreme for long haul trucks as you make it sound, but still much higher than for a car
3G was often better and more reliable when it was king than modern tech
Yeah, cause at that time there were very few people using it for anything bandwidth intensive. 3g is absolutely terrible at serving lots of bandwidth to a big crowd, even it can deliver acceptable speeds to a few people in more rural areas
If you pirated it you could have played it offline though. Paying customers get a worse experience than pirates
