Or just use Hyper-V since it’s natively available and one should refrain from touching Oracle with a ten-foot pole. I know it’s just a means to an end but better to avoid bad vendors if at all possible.

I’m sure you’re not a piece of shit, but by still having a Twitter account equals to supporting the platform and its owner (a proven piece of shit). Even if you’re not giving it any traffic by being logged in or following users (which you’re doing), you’d be giving it your support.
By unfollowing your sports people and quitting the shithole altogether you’re sending a clear message that the platform is dying (it’s already dead for many) and it’s high time for people to find alternatives.

I get tab anxiety at about 20 at which point the least visited get scrapped.
It may have been implied.
Personally, I might shift the same picture through Darktable, GIMP, Inkscape, and even Scribus, depending on what I was trying to do with it. (Text on a path -> probably Inkscape, then export as PNG and import into GIMP as a layer.)
Gotta love this adaptation of the “do one thing and do it well” principle.
a mobile app that doesn’t annihilate battery with ridiculously excessive cpu use and keepalive requests
Speaking of which, how on Earth it’s such a slug these days? I pretty much quit Reddit when the protest started and moved to Lemmy. I never used any other Android app since I was reasonably happy with the official app. However, when I launched it to check how my old subs fared, I was quite surprised at how slow, laggy and bloated POS it had come.
I honestly don’t remember it being this crappy just a few weeks ago.
Me too, on Linux, but this was about Windows.
