Isn’t the US already a surveillance country?
Isn’t the US already a surveillance country?
This is completely unrelated.
Besides, how does AI suddenly become sentient?
Good. Competition is good.
Do you feel attacked?
This has nothing to do with privacy either. First of all Telegram is not a private messenger. Secondly, this is a about public forums and groups called Channels. This has nothing to do with backdoors eithe. They are simply asking them to do moderation on chats they already have access too.
Telegram has full access to this data and knowingly ignores child pornography and other criminal activity. If Facebook did such a thing for years you’d be screaming right now.
Surely you will
Only 50k? I thought it would be much more than that. Didn’t know Lemmy was still this small after all these years.
You have to go well outside the US to find reliable and neutral news. They don’t know about it or are in denial.
Wtf is tilvids dot com?!
Wages are also subject to change based on performance or company profits.
But what I mean is that the company and the worker have the same interests in some way. Everyone wants to make money to pay the bills. Companies are no charities and your work isn’t either. If you dislike your relationship with the company, you can just resign that relationship any time. But one thing will never change: the worker will only do the work required from him and the company will only pay the wage required from them. There is nothing evil about that. It’s human nature for the past 20.000 years.
The workers also just care for profits. Nobody is working for free. Everyone needs to pay their bills. Companies will stop making profits when workers dispense with their wages, but I bet that’s not gonna happen.
Not if they improve it. But I doubt they will.
It looks like it was written in plain html.
Good comment. Thanks for sharing that insightful information.
I’d be willing to pay for their service if it didn’t entail creating an account and letting me get tracked even further.
I don’t know what the solution is, but ads isn’t, a Google account isn’t, but piracy isn’t either.
You die if your website is not indexed by the largest search engine.
A lot of people (especially on Reddit and Lemmy too) don’t understand even the basics of economics. They see “luxury” and immediately make their judgement. “The rich”, “up there”, and “elite” are probably the most used words in comments. Not everything is immediately a conspiracy. Most of it is just basic economics. Plain and simple.
Nobody needs marketing people.
Am I the only one that hates third-party clients for Desktop? They all have terrible UI and UX. Firefox + UBlock + Youtube is the way to go. For the phone it’s NewPipe or Grayjay.
