I’m relatively young and it can still be difficult to hear them especially the ones without a fake engine sound. Add some city noise and they can be completely inaudible.
Oh it’s really easy to fingerprint a device on Android so I’m 99% sure they are fingerprinting you in one way or another. But this seems to be an overly complicated way of doing it. It does really just seem like an unintentional design flaw.
I think you might have misread the article (or maybe I have?). I think the article is saying that other people (a 3rd party that is not Meta) can use some metadata clues to puzzle out which OS a user is using WhatsApp from. The article then says this is bad because an attack can target specific OSes or tailor their attack to the user’s OS. Eg. Hacker has an evil link that abuses an exploit on Android only. They can figure out who is signed into WhatsApp on android and only send those people the evil link.
Oh so a one time pad
no way bro, I love paying for YouTube why you gotta have everything for free bro?
I had to go crawling back to Samsung because the pixel 9 is too large (and heavy) for me. I was using a pixel 5 before my screen died earlier this year :(.
Edit: to clarify I’m not using a foldable phone, I just have their S24 which is apparently the smallest phone on the market I could find these days that isn’t out dated (Zenphone).
If they etched the symbol they could have reduced the weight of the laptop by 0.003g making it even better
Ok so I decided to read into this a little more. On FDICs website it says all customer funds should be available backing up my assumption that no customer of the bank lost any money: https://www.fdic.gov/resources/resolutions/bank-failures/failed-bank-list/heartlandtristate.html
It says:
The full balance of all deposit accounts has been transferred to Dream First Bank, N.A.
Actually 250k is the minimum for FDIC. Also I’m only basing my information on this single article but it says he stole 47 million and then the article goes on to say that FDIC absorbed the 47 million loss. Given this wording it sounds like every single dollar was covered.
Oh yeah. That’s fair.
I guess the silver lining here was that it could have been so much worse but thank goodness for FDIC.
Because the bank was insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the FDIC “absorbed the $47.1 million loss” after “Hanes’ fraudulent actions caused HTSB to fail and the bank investors to lose $9 million,” the US Attorney’s Office said.
It sounds like no customer with the bank lost anything. Only investors who I assume are well off anyways.
Love you guys 💜
I installed an ad blocker once I started getting unmuted video ads. I would be studying for an exam and suddenly start getting blasted with a super loud ad. This was in like 2015, before Chrome added the speaker icon next to the tab playing sound I had to look through every tab to find the source and mute it.
Same with crypto right? It’s the standard new tech comes out and 100 companies tries to capitalize and maybe 5% will survive.
This is a very grey topic for me. We can use the Russian invasion as an example since you brought it up. You can argue that more lives would have been saved had Ukraine just rolled over and surrendered immediately. But you can also argue their quality of life would be worse. But how do you compare that to resisting and fighting a war? How many lives would you trade for how big of an improvement in quality of life?
Btw I’m for Ukraine resisting, and I support them 100%. I’m just giving an example why it might not be always best to compare in human lives. Or at least, it’s really complicated.

It’s not safe for cars to be totally silent when moving imo since I’d imagine it’s more likely to get run over.
