2·2 months agoYou can also setup a little linktree page and just have all your profiles link to that so you don’t have to update 10000 links on every profile.

1·5 months agoNot sure how different the cloud one vs self hosted one is. TBH I’d skip self hosting a Kanban board.

I’ve been using NoMachine a lot for remote desktop and it works great! SSH for everything else tho. Never really liked VNC, was always a RDP person.
So glorified help desk folks… Kids these days don’t have a clue how anything actually works…
Yeah, I love Inoreader cause it’s got a paywall jumper built in, even on the free plan. I’ve been wanting to get a self hosted one, but they are all a PITA to setup or don’t have a good multi device sync.
The key is to tag all your posts, so other people can find them. You get followers here and there, but not too often. I never post of Lemmy, but post a ton of stuff on Mastodon. TBH, I mostly doom scroll RSS these days.
Basically Inoreader -> InstaPaper -> Mastodon
