I’m not voting for this scum, but yeah, we’ll see. Hoping it’ll make it to the ballot so the people can actually vote to amend the state constitution like others have. The people may be dumb at electing Representatives, but get a straight forward measure up for vote and the people seem to follow through in correcting it.
Sucks you’re being down voted, I mean maybe saying “idiot-proof” isn’t nice but comprehensive sex ed should cover helping those with a noodle understand how to find ones that fit comfortably and what main causes there are for breakage n whatnot. I’m currently having that discussion with my sex buddy, and I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve had people try to coerce me into letting them go raw dog in the past. Like keep in mind I’m in a state that has not only criminalized abortion but is defunding all planned parenthoods now.
Will definitely be awesome when all parties have comfortable, reliable, safe options to protect themselves
Should be noted vasectomies aren’t reliably reversible after a certain point, but if you know you don’t want kids, by all means. I’d rather my partner take that leap than me have to have more invasive surgery
I tried googling this but am confused by the results. Can you explain a bit more
I don’t think it’s a bad thing to want to be paid for being the center of attention. There’s pathological levels to it for sure, but we’re communal, creative creatures. Maybe it depends on how we define influencer, idk. I was gonna comment that younger generations aren’t fully developed physiologically, so the appreciation for fully human influence could be chalked up to that
Wait what? Can I get a link to read more about this?
Is that similar to betterdiscord? I’m not the most tech literate but I’ve used that with plugins for tabs and whatnot. If there’s a plugin for universal emojis I’d be sold
Just a friendly reminder there are therapists that work pro bono or for discounted rates. I’m paying $60/ session without insurance and it’s an investment for my mental health, future relationships and career.
I follow mainly therapists and pet behaviorists on TikTok so my take is the teaching thrives through regular user engagement. I can imagine a teacher letting students know they have a page and getting their start that way, too. It has its risks but it’s really helped supplement my education.
Can’t you request a new lawyer if you feel yours isn’t representing you well? Or appeal based on that?
Not who you asked, but the tab islands is my favorite feature from opera
The first yes, but the second is a straw man of my argument. I’m curious if you can steel man it
Hey, whatcha typing this comment on?
I have shit internet so the audio and stream quality does matter to me - its the universal emojis and sound board that keeps me paying. I’m not ashamed
Are there any for video/voice chat similar to discord? I feel like there are split opinions on it as a platform as they’ve made so many changes with community servers, plus their early association to Charlottesville obviously leaves concerns…but there’s definitely tons of wholesome groups where I’ve made life-long friends. I love that it’s remained ad free but don’t see that lasting
It’s not just about learning the new interfaces…I’ve used the new site design and have heard the official app is just as bad about shoving ads down our throats. Baconreader made ads at least fairly unobtrusive, but with all the drama I’ve decided: fuck it. I appreciate Lemmy and other decentralized options for being user-funded rather than reliant on corporations
I’ve been growing weary of these centralized platforms selling off my info. It’s dangerous to have that much power as we’ve seen with election interferences. I’m working to switch over to here from reddit and mastodon from Twitter (I didn’t really use Twitter anyway, but mastodon does have npr and other news media). Might as well tbh
Are they arguing it wasn’t random though? I mean Shakespeare had to think through the plot and everything, not just scribble nonsense on a page
