Congrats on taking the step. I axed my 12-year old account at the start of all this. I’ve had moments where I doubted that decision, sure, but the fediverse does seem to be growing. There’s more and more activity every day.

I don’t even get that. Just an immediate login prompt without being able to see anything underneath.

The utopian dream of the internet as the great equalizer and “Information wants to be free!” is dead.

Thinks seem to be picking up in the Threadiverse, so something definitely changed. It’s nowhere near Reddit levels of activity but getting better. Personally, my 12 year account is now gone which is significant for me.
