Abab - Old Thunder; what a mood they created. Crushing. Drums are well tuned and that guitar tone is sooo distorted. Super Duper Heavy.
Akercocke are an interesting choice. I look fwd to listening to more of their efforts.

I’ma throw my hat into the ring with Undergang. Danish Death. The guitar tones are disgustingly creepy and the feel of the tracks is heavy as. Start with ‘Tvangstanker’.
I thought it was just me that thought Bleed was overrated. ObZen and Lethargica kick ass compared.
Broooo pretty with you there. When I saw them they played Dancers to a Discordant System and the walls frickn shook… And so thusly was I.
Depends which acts are on tour in… Yep, Australia. So last 12 months I went to 6. Work into the mix many of the venues are on the other side of town to me (so week nights are usually off the table unless I must see; Mastodon) and that tix are often very expensive - especially for big names.
To anyone wondering… It’s Phenomenal. It’s an album.
This was not on my radar either. Again, thanks for the post (like the Bon Iver album). What do you think of this album so far?
Sweet! A new Bon Iver album to chew on. What do you think of it so far?
Get over to BangerTV and support the community and channel. Everything Metal from History to Emerging. There is a Doco on Extreme Metal that is real good and if you can find it Sam Dunn has a Doco “A headbangers journey” about the history of metal and how we have so many sub genres. It’s wicked.
P.S. all these recommendations are awesome. I’ll put my hat in the ring for Decapitated & Phobophilic. Maybe Behemoth (The Satanist album).
Like memories of yesterday…
