Better than Firefox being blocked in Russia. Addons can be added from files anyway.

This. Nowadays people mostly buy TVs when their old ones break. There’s no marginal improvement. The industry is here to stay, but its high growth days are in the past.
Probably has something to do with fewer political posts
I suspect a lot of CSAM searches come from underage users themselves
Nice socks lol
1password should just open source its apps. IMHO, security and infrastructure software has no business being closed source.
Not much point in using SSDs in a NAS if it’s there just for holding your files
Use HDDs for linear read/write (files) and SSDs for IOPS (databases)
Firefox’s been killing it recently
Make phone numbers optional and add a setting to allow/forbid accounts with no phone number to message you. I bet phone numbers have zero effect on the level of spam.
What if the bugs are linux-specific? lol
This community’s best use case is finding niche and/or new and exciting tech ideas and tools
Here’s hoping for popularising secure communication protocols. It’s gonna become a must at some point.
Native /w Wayland or bust 😆 😡
Nobody can be trusted with such an AI. That’s why, hopefully, there won’t be one dominant player.
Imho, the only guys who have a chance to develop an AI for general use are those funded by Google, Microsoft or Elon. The Big Tech guys with deep pockets, who are prepared to burn cash for the long run. Others need to find their niche.
I see Firefox, I see VLC. Things aren’t too bad.
We need a fully community run password manager with row-level server synchronisation between devices and shared vaults. Maybe a new client for the Bitwarden protocol with Vaultwarden or something new. E.g. 1password’s secret key as a second factor is, imho, their best feature. It pretty much eliminates the possibility of the vault being decrypted due to a weak master password.
