Yeah. People lying about racism towards them (or as they called it “mishearing”) can ruin other people’s lives. Getting deprived of Amazon services for one week could be considered being lucky if we think about what happens to some people after such false accusations.

I think reusing that data by anyone would be a very shady move. Not everyone who posted on reddit wants their posts and comments to float around in various places without their consent. I know posting online always poses the risk that what you post will be archived somewhere but I still think no one should build any new service on that data.
It isn’t that powerful. They don’t have to remove comments or posts if they don’t contain any personal data that you can be identified with.
Thanks to Valve and Proton gaming on Linux is already pretty viable and it’s getting better all the time. I am very happy with how compatible Steam Deck is and what’s funnier sometimes stuff that doesn’t work on newer Windows versions works perfectly on a Deck. Battle.net Launcher installed as a non-Steam app and set to run with Proton allowing me to install and play Diablo IV just like I would on my PC just blew my mind.
