Sounds like they’re trying to put out a titanium fire using only a bucket of water.
I have a new phrase to use in the future.

I still don’t know if a USB micro or mini is the one that charges my PS4 controller
It’s Micro-B, to be specific.
Maybe we should chip in and buy a second robot.
Hear me out: three robots.
You don’t actually give the card to the employees, do you?
Typically when I go through a drive thru, I hand my card to someone who then leans back inside to swipe/tap/whatever it, then they hand it back. So yes, commonly I do give my card to an employee for at least a few seconds.
During 2020-2022 more of them were in the habit of placing the PIN pad at the window so it could be reached by customers from their cars, but it wasn’t designed to be used that way and I’m sure it caused other issues.
What’s France?
“Wester Germany”
If you wrap the TV in tinfoil, it’ll be a faraday cage and block all WiFi
I just keep my TV embedded in a block of lead.
I won’t lie I was super tempted to add a pro toolkit
I say do it (if you have the money, of course). I got it and while it has far more tools/bits than I use regularly, it’s been invaluable.
Honestly any parts you buy today probably won’t be much good in 30 years.
At least not when AGP comes to town.

Has science gone too far?
Science isn’t about why, it’s about why not.

Also is the Steam Link even sold anymore?
I believe it was retired several years ago, in favor of software solutions.
Ok but why is the thumbnail a scene from Midsommar…
Probably because the leading image is taken from Midsommar.
STED DECK, sounds like something I would find on Aliexpress.
Sold by Volv.
Does the Amazon link work? I am getting “This content is not available.” On iPhone
Same for me on Android. Says “playlist not found.”
Genki makes the Covert Dock, which I have experience with. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s easily portable and works with both the Deck and the Switch. With a long enough cable you could sit a distance away from the TV and still use the Deck like a controller.
There are some Anker USB hubs with HDMI that would work for this application as well (in theory).
Man that was a great phone.
My plan isn’t quite that old, but it’s getting up there. They recently increased my price by a few dollars per line. Then they tried to get me to move to a current plan, which turned out to be 20% higher price for less return. I had to try not to burst out laughing at the poor guy’s face.
I’ve been with TMo for more than 20 years–they’re the only carrier I’ve ever used–but if my price goes up again I’m jumping ship.
