Their leadership should be broken up into smaller pieces.
Narrator: they won’t.
Only because things are too expensive for plebes to buy outright! Mortgages are basically subscriptions too. Or “layaway” at least.
Thanks to monthly payments for everything, you can have whatever TV you want!
Came to the comments for this 👍
This guy fences and / or thieves.
But we aren’t intelligent without human training, either…
Oh I’m not assuming the system isn’t owned by the rich. But the people in power can still be removed and replaced, even if the methods in place aren’t setup for it. The French are pretty good at it, for example.
No, it’s the only thing that matters to our current leadership. That can be changed. Either by changing their minds, or by removing and replacing them.
Not even trolling. Can you imagine what would have happened if the first black president had tried to cling to power on his way out?
USA: Not okay.
If Obama had led an insurrection, it’d have been war in the streets and they’d have swept him away to some military black site, never to be seen again.

I think most if not all of those formats are plaintext? Open a .doc and it’s a heap of garbage XML-like soup.
Web dev here. Unless they explicitly block other browsers or somehow adopt bleeding-edge tech that other browsers have and Firefox doesn’t (has Firefox ever not been the first to support new standards?) I don’t know how this would even be a problem.
If you hate thieves, you should love shoplifters. The real thieves are at the top scheming more ways to fuck the poor.
I thought this was already done? The Figma post sounded pretty final. I was pretty sad to read it but this news gives me some hope.
Not that Adobe doesn’t make good stuff, but I can’t imagine Figma thriving in the same way it has when Adobe just wants it to pull more $50/mo cloud subscriptions.
“Pentimentos” just refers to the five-sided breath mints widely known to have been Vermeer’s favorite. Often trace amounts will turn up under a microscope. It’s how they know it’s authentically his.
People really need to be reminded how much blood it took for us to get a fucking weekend.
Yeah, that’s some next level naïveté thinking Silicon Valley gives any fucks about anything other than number-go-up. Yikes.
The advent of AI feels more like the beginning of what will probably end in revolution… The bloody kind. They’re going to replace as many humans as they possibly can until the masses get hungry enough to finally eat the rich.
Because they both disrupted their respective markets with little more than an app.
Expecting corporations to “solve important problems in the world” is foolish though. You should expect your government to tax them fairly so that they can work on people problems and maybe it takes corporations a few years longer to afford their own fleet of nuclear power stations.
