EasyAntiCheat doesn’t have an excuse it’s essentially a switch.
Try it out the worst that can happen is you install windows when you’re over it.

Mankato is easy to use and looks nice but I’ve also been using it for years. It has the power of the AUR but if people are saying other might be better they might be right. I would just stick to something Arch based because of the AUR. I saw a comment about endeavor and I might try it myself.
I’ve been using Linux since I was 14 like over a decade ago. I was forced to by my moms crazy boyfriend and when I had the chance I immediately installed windows. Long story short I absolutely hated it and switch back to Linux within 6 months, haven’t looked back since.
I do have to vouch for sometimes the command line is easier, not with everything but sometimes. Like my VPN sometimes it’s a little slow on the uptake and finding a server all that nonsense but I can also just have a few taps away at the command line and bing bang boom it’s done.
Yeah I’m not sure the last time you used Linux but it’s nothing like that these days. As long as you stick with a well established distribution you’ll be fine. I haven’t had to go in a “fix” an update in a while, even in some of the beta updates they’re fairly stable.
Use fabric, forge is too slow.
